Change Team:
Week 3 daily work out is up on TeamSnap
by posted 03/29/2020

Week 3 daily work out is up on TeamSnap. I think Coach Scotty wants to see who is really doing this.  If you can get through all the workouts this week, especially the physical one, then you have earned yourself a reward.  Who is gonna lead their teammates to get through this?

To find all the daily workouts on TeamSnap from your phone go to: More, then choose Files, and they are in the Daily Habits Workouts folder.

If you are on your computer, then look under Media and choose Files, and they are in the Daily Habits Workouts folder.

Harvard Lax Today's episodes

Chad,

Good afternoon, greetings from Boston.

Strange and scary times for sure for all of us but we hope that maintaining some connection to the game, our players and our communities can provide some element of normalcy.

Today we have episodes #4 & #5 focusing on Team and Individual Defense as well as Goalie Play.

At 3pm EST I will telestrate and deconstruct  a possession from the Redwoods/Chaos PLL Playoff Game in which I will focus on On Ball D, Defending 2-Man Action and Defending End Line Re-Start Plays.

At 345pm Coach Bergman will present clips/video on Goalie Play focusing on Stance & Pipe Play that he calls "Toy Soldier" Goaltending.

As with the prior episodes these guidelines will help you:

--If you miss the episodes, they will be archived on our You Tube Channel, search HLX1881 and you will find the playlist
--Use the Chat feature on Zoom (the platform that will host the Webinar) to ask questions/give suggestions during or after the presentation
--Do your best to mute sound on your end so that it does not interfere with the broadcast
--Feel free to email me with any follow up questions after the webinar and we will answer in a timely manner

Thanks for watching, feel free to forward onto your players/coaching staffs to either view live or watch on the You Tube Channel.

If there are specific topics that you would like us to cover feel free to email.

Have a great day!

That link didn't work.  I am not sure how to see the bulletins from the mobile app. On a computer, go to the home page richlandlacrosse.com, then in the menu towards the top, select "Teams" and then "CHOOSE A TEAM" and it should take you right to the HS bulletin page.

The Plan
by posted 03/17/2020

If you are getting these via text only, you can see the whole thing here:  http://www.richlandlacrosse.com/Bulletins.asp?org=richlandlacrosse.com

Here is the Plan that has been developed by the coaches and captains, and we discussed last night as a team.

1. Each week, coaches will provide daily workouts (5 days a week) covering the following three areas: physical, cardio, and lacrosse. For week 1, that will be coming later today.  The boys can do these invididually, or they can talk with their parents about having a partner.  If parents think that a partner is appropriate, then it should be the same partner all the time, not switching from partner to partner as that has the potential to increase the potential exposure and spread of CV-19.

2. We will have our team grateful minute each night via phone.  We are still working on the details of that as my conference call line currently does not have capacity for 30 plus folks.  We also need to nail down the time.  I will ask the captains to figure that out via vote.

3.  We will also be offering other opportunities as they come up.  For example, a number of guys said the Harvard lacrosse lax skills development yesterday was excellent.  You can see that or try to get invovled with that here:  Click Here to Enter the 1 Clip/1 Drill Webinar

4.  Communication is critical.  I still need cell phone numbers for the following players so they can join the team group chat:  Jacob, Arnoldo, and Zach.  Please text or email that to me so we can get them added.

5.  Finally, as laid out in the Bomber habits worksheet, you will be more successful in doing each day what our team has committed to do by using habit stacking and implementation intentions.

Hope, Habits, Brotherhood, Be Ready!

Coach Chad
